Welcome back to some wedding inspiration for your Wednesday morning.
This time I want to share a really beautiful wedding I was lucky enough to work on last December. The bride’s name is Katherine White, she is one of 4 gorgeous sisters. Over the next few months I will be returning to the lovely White family to do wedding makeup for each of Katherine’s sisters Jeanne and Carol.
So over a pretty short space of time I have the privilege of being makeup artist for 3 White weddings. How lucky am I?
Normally, I feel a wistful as my bride slips into her wedding dress. We develop a friendship during the wedding planning and I’m often sad to say goodbye. So to work with the same family on 3 separate weddings feels like a real treat. It’s nice to feel familiar with the faces and personalities. Here’s a pic on the left of me doing what I do best, making an eejit of myself between makeups.
I shared this winter wedding morning with the ever lovely and talented Lynsey O’Leary, see the back of Lynsey’s head as she chats with Katherine?
Yes, I look daft here but I like these photos. They give a nice idea of what you can expect as a bride on the morning of your wedding!
Lynsey created a soft modern Bardot-inspired upstyle for Katherine. I’ve worked with Lynsey with many brides and I love her work. Lynsey also writes a great hair blog if you’d like to check her out here
Katherine’s wedding was elegant, gorgeous, stylish yet with an incredibly relaxed vibe. I’m thrilled to share some images taken by Derek Hynes of Hello Matilda Photography in Cork. Derek is incredibly talented and his photographs perfectly capture the laid back elegance of this special White wedding. I can’t wait for the next one this April…
Ps. A massive thank you to wonderful Katherine for sharing these images with me xx
